The B-316 series is a complete line of compact and robust three-way (3/2), side-passage valves made of 316 stainless steel (conforming to NACE standard MR-01-75). They are designed especially for use in corrosive environments and to control a variety of aggressive fluids in addition to air. Stems with O-rings provide a bubble seal throughout the operating pressure range and, when used for small volume operation, this feature saves valuable instrument air. Actuators include solenoid/pilot (including those suitable for ordinary, hazardous or LOW-WATT service), remote pressure pilot, manual and mechanical. Many combination actuators and special function types can also be supplied. For these items, please contact the factory. Solenoid valves can be 2-position, single or double solenoid. A manual override option is available for most types. Remote-piloted models can be 2-position, single- or double-piloted. Manually actuated valves are of the 2-position, panel-mount push button type and are offered with or without shielded push buttons. An optional lid-knob type is also available. Mechanically actuated valves are 2-position and are supplied with a roller for cam interface.
