The Milltronics MSI is a heavy-duty precision belt scale suitable for process control and loading/unloading operations. The roller bridge is not included in the scope of delivery.
Application
The Milltronics MSI scale realises continuous weighing in both the raw material and processing industries. It offers a proven solution in many difficult applications, from raw material extraction (aggregate industry), power generation, iron and steel production to the food or chemical industry. The MSI scale is suitable for weighing heterogeneous products such as sand, flour, coal or sugar.
The special parallelogram-shaped load cells of the MSI scale guarantee maximum reaction to vertical forces and immediate response to material loading. This enables extreme accuracy and reproducibility even with irregular loads and high belt speeds.
The MSI belt scale is used with a Milltronics BW500, SIWAREX WT241, WP241 or FTC microprocessor electronics (integrator) and provides measurements of instantaneous flow rate, total weight, load and speed of solid materials on the belt. A sensor provides the integrator with a signal proportional to the belt speed.
The MSI scale is easily installed between the conveyor belt supports and secured with four screws. The roller bridge is attached to the dynamic frame of the MSI scale. This weighing system with no moving parts requires minimal maintenance, and only a periodic calibration check.
