The ‘V’ Series valves are designed to control pneumatic pressures from partial vacuum to 200 psi (14 bar). However, the use of standard O-ring seals allows for many different compounds to meet different fluid and temperature conditions. In general, the standard NBR (nitrile) O-rings used in ‘V’ Series valves allow application for most general industrial uses. Sub-zero ambient temperatures require moisture-free air and the use of adequate lubrication.
The ‘T’ Series valves are designed to control hydraulic pressures from 0 to 500 psi (35 bar). The maximum fluid temperature is 130°F (55°C).
Limitations generally apply to specific types of actuation, such as solenoid or pilot. The minimum and maximum pressures in these cases depend on the size of the valve, the method of return actuation, the valve series and the pressure range to be controlled.
